Q: How durable they are so that instead of ditching them at the festival they could be used again for other camping adventures?
A: If our tents have been well looked after AND fully dried out before being packed away, they could be used SEVERAL times BEFORE being sent for recycling!
Q: Are the tents waterproof?
A: YES - Our whole green tent range has the same or HIGHER hydrostatic head (waterproof rating) as ANY other like for like priced regular tent on sale here in the UK.
Q: How much does it cost to post the tents to me?
A: £4.95 is the delivery cost for any items purchased whether it is a 2 man tent or a 6 man tent festival kit.
Q: Can I collect my tent from the festival instead of having it delivered?
A: YES, you have the option of home delivery or site collection. When buying simply choose to `reserve for site collection`. After buying you`ll be sent an order confirmation by email, bring this with you to The Green Tent Company on teh festival site and we`ll give you your items.
Q: What is it that makes your tents recyclable?
A: Until now all tents were made up of many different kinds of materials such as fibreglass poles, nylon zips, polyester fabric and metal pegs etc.
This made them un-economical to separate for recycling after they are no longer fit for purpose. We at THE GREEN TENT COMPANY are the first in the world to produce a tent that has been manufactured solely from one product, thus making it easy to recycle whilst maintaining ALL of the normal tent qualities.
Q: If I buy products in one name and choose to collect from site can someone else pick these up for me?
A: YES - Simply print your order confirmation off with all the details and give it to the person collecting them on your behalf.
